Newest project. Tailgate bench from - I believe - an 80's VW Rabbit truck. Someone's work truck. That someone didn't know how to spell 'Vehicle.'
A different pattern with the seat. Boards going north/south versus east/west. The 1x6 boards came from an old fence that was at my uncle's rental property. I bought the 1x4s at Home Deport.
The secure the tailgate to the bench I used a dowel (see on the first right) through my 4x4 post and into the circular hole in the tailgate. Very firm application.
